It is the king of Beaujolais and the wine with the best aging potential. The terroir of Rochegrès gives this cuvée the great finesse, balance and power. Has some Pinot Noir notes with a few years of aging.
Deep ruby with purple highlights.
Fresh, spicy and mineral with aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, strawberry) then notes of black fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant).
Fleshy and fine. A straightforward, pure and balanced wine with a round and velvety texture. The finish is long and persistent with good aromatic complexity.
This wine goes well with many dishes: red meats, meats in sauce, duck and game (wild boar).

Traditional vinification of Beaujolais in whole bunch: half carbonic maceration with two pumping per day during 10 min, maceration from 9 to 11 days in vats
